Sincere congratulations and appreciation to the Australian Nuclear Free Alliance on its exceptional work to protect country and network and support Aboriginal communities in their efforts to do just this. Aboriginal communities have suffered greatly in Australia at the hands of the nuclear industry and I pay tribute to the people living and the very many already passed away who still suffer from the effects of Maralinga and the many who have tried to raise their voices in protest over the years. I will name the Late Jessie Lennon, Ricky Brown and Larry Crombie of Coober Pedy.
Congratulations on the comprehensive and magnificent work of the latest ANFA meeting just completed and the excellent record and comprehensive action of the proceedings above. The photo together with language groups and environmental organisations listed show this wonderful affirmative partnerships which work together to create the well being the country deserves and the peaceful world all people of good will strive for.
As Mr Buzzacott says-
But if we move,
That old country power will come with us.
